Today WhatsApp has an important presence in our lives, and for this reason, it has become the most used messaging platform in the world.
Every minute of the day the application allows us to maintain fluid communication with our friends, family, co-workers and also with strangers.
Because there are contacts with whom we speak more often, it is common that we choose to add them to our agenda to be able to identify them. However, that might also trigger the following question: Does that person have me scheduled?
Fortunately, in the extensive list of functions that WhatsApp has, there is one in particular that might be useful to clear up that mystery.
To find out whether or not a person has saved you in their contact book, just use the tool known as broadcast lists.
This function allows you to send a message to multiple recipients simultaneously. As WhatsApp describes in its Help Center“are saved recipient lists that you can send messages to without having to select contacts each time.”
One of the impossible requirements for people to receive messages from the broadcast list is that they must have your number saved in their phonebook. And that is precisely why it can be used as a trick.

“Only people who have your phone number saved as a contact will receive your broadcast message. If someone does not receive your broadcast messages, ask them to add you to their contacts,” describes the messaging platform.
One point to consider is that the recipients receive the message as if you had sent it individually, and for the same reason, the responses arrive in the chat that the two share.
Now, if you wanted contacts to exchange messages with each other, you would need to create a new group chat.
To make a broadcast list, the first thing you must do is enter WhatsApp and click on the + icon or the three vertical dots, depending on whether your device is Android or iOS.
Then you must click on the New broadcast option, select the contacts you want to verify and confirm with the tick symbol. The broadcast list chat will then be displayed and you must write a simple message, just to test.
If a person has two reading tics, it means that they do have you scheduled. However, if this does not happen as the minutes pass, it is because you are not in their contact list.
