The west wind is getting stronger; Warning of heavy rain at night

Kochi: Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rain during the night due to the strengthening of the western wind in the Arabian Sea. According to the Central Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of widespread rains and isolated heavy rains in Kerala till August 5th and isolated very heavy rains in the days till August 4th.

Kerala- Lakshadweep-Karnataka coasts should not go for fishing till August 5. According to the Meteorological Center, strong winds with a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour are likely to occur along the coasts of Kerala-Lakshadweep-Karnataka till August 5.

August 1 and 2: Chance of strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph and bad weather over South Bay of Bengal, Kanyakumari Coast, Gulf of Mannar, Tamil Nadu Coast, Maldives Coast and Southeast Arabian Sea.

August 3: 40 to 50 kmph over South-West Bay of Bengal adjoining Central-West Bengal, Bay, Tamil Nadu Coast, Kanyakumari Coast, Gulf of Mannar, Maldives Coast, Southeast Arabian Sea, Central-West Bay of Bengal and South Andhra Coast. Chance of strong winds and inclement weather.

August 4 and 5: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for severe weather conditions with gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph over Maldives coast, Southeast Arabian Sea, Central-West Bay of Bengal and Southwest Bay of Bengal.
