The Wellness Caravans will continue their journey throughout Quintana Roo, to bring shared prosperity through free services and attention to the most vulnerable community
CANCÚN, QRoo.- As part of the co-responsibility in the New Agreement for the Well-being of Quintana Roo, the “Caravan of Well-being” of the State Government arrived in Cancun at the Villas Otoch Sports Dome, Region 247, to provide free institutional services and attention to the population through the dependencies of the three levels of government.
In her capacity as hostess in the city, the Municipal President, Ana Paty Peralta, received the Secretary of Welfare (SEBIEN), Pablo Bustamante Beltrán, representative of Governor Mara Lezama, with whom she observed the martial arts exhibition.
During the tour of the stands, he witnessed the delivery of four functional tools (canes) donated by the Institute for the Development of the Mayan People (INMAYA); three pairs of prescription glasses for the same number of people from Public Charity; two birth certificates in the Civil Registry module; two Registry Background Certificates by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE); and delivered seeds for a backyard garden to a woman from Cancun, as well as paint for the María Pantoja Méndez elementary school and the community high school in the Tres Reyes neighborhood, donated by the Institute of Educational Physical Infrastructure of the state of Quintana Roo (IFEQROO).
Around 20 installed stands offered services such as: updating birth certificates from the state of Quintana Roo, Registry Background Certificates, pre-graduate glasses, social assistance, disability certificates, legal advice, support canes, nutrition talks, training for self-employment, supply of vegetable seeds for the backyard and haircuts; in addition to dental and medical care, where he took the opportunity to take vital signs.
Once once more, the Well-being Caravan will tour all corners of Quintana Roo, transforming the lives of thousands of women, girls, boys, and older adults, with attention to physical, emotional, and mental health; These actions make it possible to reduce the lags and inequalities that prevailed for many years, and that today thanks to the sum of wills with the New Agreement for the Well-being of Quintana Roo called by the Governor, work is being done on the transformation of a better Cancun.
