This Sunday the day will start with local clearings but the south-westerly wind will still be felt with peaks of 40 to 60 km/h.

Light showers will develop in the followingnoon in northern France and will give a few showers, mainly localized in Flanders and the province of Antwerp.

It will still be very mild or even quite warm with highs between 22 and 27° in the interior of the country but oscillating more around 20° on the beaches of the North Sea and in the Hautes Fagnes.

The sky will be less cloudy and the wind will weaken strongly in the evening and the following night with breathable temperatures between 12 and 16° but 5 to 12° in the Ardennes valleys.

Mondayan anticyclonic cell will form in the Bay of Biscay and western France, which will cause a gradual drying of the maritime air mass, reducing the tendency to showers in the interior of the country and favoring the development of cloud thinnings. during the followingnoon and evening.

It will be very pleasant with daytime temperatures between 18 and 20° on the coast and in the upper Ardennes and 20 to 25° everywhere else.

On the other hand, the wind, which will move to the west, will still blow during the day with peaks of 40 to 60 km/h in the interior of the country and 55 to 65 km/h by the sea.

Mardithe new anticyclonic cell will have moved towards the south of the North Sea, which will lead to the establishment of a weak northeasterly current here, draining even drier and warmer continental air.

After a relatively cool morning, especially in the Ardennes where the minimums will have dropped to between 2 and 8° in the valleys, the fine sunny weather will set in everywhere with temperatures between 23 and 28° except on the coast where the sea breeze will maintain the mercury in the thermometers between 20 and 23°.

Wednesdaythe current will return to the northwest over Western Europe and cooler, unstable air will invade the British Isles.

Before the arrival of this air in our regions, we will still enjoy pleasant temperatures close to those of the day before, but the risk of showers will increase at the end of the day in the north-west and south-east of the country.

For the weekend and the beginning of the following weekend

A cold front followed by a cool and unstable flow from the northwest is expected to cross the country causing a drop in temperatures which would return on Friday and Saturday followingnoon to between 17 and 23°.

The weather will therefore become unstable or disturbed these three days with many cloudy periods accompanied by rain or showers.

Evolution for Sunday 23 and Monday 24 July

A small improvement is envisaged with little or no rain and daytime temperatures returning to between 20 and 23° in the Ardennes and the coast and between 23 and 27° in the other regions.

Likely trend for the rest of the following week

Return of disturbed and cool conditions with almost daily rainfall and temperatures below seasonal norms, that is to say generally between 18 and 24°.
