For his part, Raafat Adly, the lawyer and filer of the complaint once morest Safinaz, denied the dancer’s accusations that he forced her to engage in sexual intercourse with him. He said that these were false allegations, threatening to sue her legally.
He stressed that the contract concluded between the hotel and the dancer was written in Arabic and English, which negates her claims when she confirmed before the prosecution that she signed the contract without understanding its terms, given that it was written in Arabic.
Adly revealed that the dancer, according to the contract, receives $100 for each day of work.
He added that the contract prohibits the dancer from performing any other work, whether with or without pay, throughout the contract period (5 years) unless she obtains prior written permission from the administration. If this condition is violated, Safinaz must pay the hotel compensation in the amount of one and a half million dollars.
