The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable autumnal weather dominates the eastern basin of the Mediterranean until next Monday noon, when it turns into volatile weather due to the influence of relatively cold air masses,” noting that “the usual average temperatures on the coast for the month of December between 13 and 21 degrees Celsius.
And it indicated in its evening bulletin, that “the weather expected in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, is few clouds, without any significant change in temperatures on the coast and inland, and a slight decrease in the mountains, and local fog forms on the heights in the evening period,” noting that “the expected weather Monday is partly cloudy, With the onset of a slight decrease in temperature, and the formation of local fog on the heights, starting in the followingnoon, with clouds condensing, the weather becomes ready for scattered rain.
And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The expected weather for Tuesday is partly cloudy to cloudy, with an additional limited decrease in temperature and the formation of fog on the heights, and sporadic rains that are sometimes heavy, especially in the south of the country, with the possibility of lightning, thunder, and activity at wind speed; and snow falls at dawn.” Starting from 1800 meters and above.
And it stated that “the weather expected on Wednesday is generally cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures on the coast and a decrease in the mountains and in the interior, and sporadic rains, sometimes heavy, with fog on the heights, as snow falls during the day, starting from a height of 2100 m and above.”
The department also added that “surface winds: northwesterly to northerly during the day and southeasterly at night, speed between 10 and 30 km/h, the swelling is good, the relative humidity on the coast is between 50 and 65%, the sea condition is low, the wave height is low, and the water surface temperature is 22 degrees Celsius.” .
