The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable autumnal weather dominates the eastern basin of the Mediterranean until next Tuesday, when it turns into volatile weather due to the influence of relatively cold air masses,” noting that “the average temperatures on the coast for December are between 13 and 21 degrees Celsius.
And it explained in its evening bulletin, that “the weather expected in Lebanon tomorrow, Saturday, is partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with high clouds, with a decrease in humidity and stability in temperatures,” noting that “the expected weather on Sunday is few clouds without a significant change in temperatures on the coast and mountains, while it rises.” The daytime temperatures are indoors, and local fog is formed on the heights in the evening period.
And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The weather is expected on Monday to be partly cloudy with the beginning of a drop in temperatures, and the formation of local fog on the heights, starting in the followingnoon.” And it stated that “the weather expected on Tuesday is partly cloudy to cloudy, with a limited drop in temperatures, and fog forming on the heights; local rains will also fall, starting from the southern regions.”
The department added, “The surface winds: northwesterly to northerly during the day and northeasterly at night, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h, the swelling is good, the relative humidity on the coast is between 45 and 65%, the sea condition is low, the wave height is low, and the water surface temperature is 22 degrees Celsius.”
