The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Department in Lebanon expected that the weather in Lebanon today, Sunday, will be clear to a few clouds, with a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially in the interior and mountainous regions, which exceed their seasonal rates, as well as low humidity.
General condition: Stable weather dominates Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, fluctuating from Monday morning until Tuesday followingnoon, then returning to stability during the next week.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
– Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a significant decrease in temperatures, especially on the mountains and the interior, which return to their seasonal rates. Winds are also active sometimes and fog forms on the heights. Sporadic rain sometimes falls with snow at a height of 1700 meters and above.
– Tuesday: Partly cloudy without a significant change in temperature, and scattered light rain, especially in the northern regions, before noon, with some light snow at a height of 1600 meters and above. Fog will also form on the heights. The weather is gradually improving during the day. We warn once morest the formation of snow on mountain and internal roads as of the height of 1500 meters at night.
– Wednesday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperature.
Expected temperatures range: On the coast from 8 to 22 degrees, above the mountains from 3 to 19 degrees, inland from 2 to 12 degrees.
Surface wind: Northwesterly to Northwesterly during the day, Northeasterly at night, its speed ranges between 10 and 20 km/hr.
Visibility: Good.
– Relative humidity on the coast: Between 35 and 60%.
Sea condition: Low wave height.
Water surface temperature: 17 degrees.
– Atmospheric pressure: 767 mm Hg.
