Strong winds of up to 8 Beaufort are expected today Holy Tuesday (30.4.2024), which will cause problems for maritime transport. However, in general the weather will be clear in most of the country.
According to the EMY weather forecast, despite the strong winds, the weather will be sunny in the Dodecanese, the Ionian and the southern part of the eastern Aegean islands.
In eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the north-eastern Aegean, the eastern mainlands, the Sporades, Evia, the Cyclades and Crete, and in the mid-afternoon in the rest of the mainlands, temporarily increased clouds are expected.
In western and central Macedonia we will have a few temporarily increased clouds.
Where will it rain today?
Local rains will occur in eastern Macedonia and Thrace, while possible isolated storms will occur in the afternoon and afternoon in Thrace. In western and central Macedonia, it is possible that there will be temporary rain in the mountains in the afternoon – afternoon. A few local rains will occur in Evia, northern Crete and possibly in the Cyclades.

According to meteorologist Christina Rigou, some bad weather is expected in the Aegean for Easter Sunday, however, by noon the weather will improve.
It will also have sporadic rains in the Cyclades and in the eastern Aegean and Crete, while on the mainland the weather will be much better for roasting the arrow than in the morning. We expect some rain in the afternoon and in the afternoon, especially in the mountainous areas.

In the west, a few clouds temporarily increased until the afternoon hours with local rains and possibly isolated storms in the northern Ionian and Epirus. In the rest of the country, generally clear weather with passing clouds in the central and northern continental areas in the midday and afternoon hours, when local rains will occur and isolated storms in the northern mountains.
Winds will be in the west weak and gradually westerly 3 to 5 Beaufort. In the east it will initially blow northerlies 3 to 5 and locally in the southeastern Aegean 6 Beaufort and will gradually turn to westerlies with the same intensity.
The temperature will see a slight further rise in the east towards its maximum values.
FORECAST FOR GOOD FRIDAY 03-05-2024
Initially in the west and gradually in the center and the north, passing clouds with local rain and isolated storms. In the rest of the country generally clear weather.
Winds will blow from western directions 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the seas locally 6 and gradually in the southern Aegean up to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the west.
FORECAST FOR HOLY SATURDAY 04-05-2024
In the west, the center and the north and gradually in the rest of the country clouds with local rains and isolated storms. An improvement is expected in the west in the afternoon.
Winds will blow from west directions 4 to 6 and in the south local 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will fall.
