The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected the weather in Lebanon to be partly cloudy tomorrow, Sunday, with no temperature adjustments, and active winds at times, with the appearance of local fog remaining on the heights, and the following bulletin stated:
– General situation: The eastern Mediterranean basin is affected by a rapid and limited air depression, as the weather turns to fluctuating and rainy and its effect recedes in the evening, to return to the eastern Mediterranean under the influence of an air depression as of Wednesday followingnoon. (The average temperature on the coast for the month of February is between 11 and 19 degrees Celsius).
– The forecast weather in Lebanon
Saturday: Cloudy in the morning with a decrease in temperatures and sporadic rain falling sometimes, especially in the south and the interior, accompanied by lightning, thunder and active winds. Snow falls at an altitude of 1600 m and below in some areas. The rain gradually recedes, starting in the evening, and the weather turns to partly cloudy, and thick fog forms on the heights.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with no temperature adjustments, sometimes brisk winds, with local fog remaining on the heights.
Monday: Cloudy in the morning with high clouds and active winds, with high temperatures in the interior and without modification in the mountainous and coastal areas, and the continued formation of fog on the heights.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with medium and high clouds, with high temperatures in the coastal and mountainous areas and without modification in the interior regions, with the formation of fog remaining on the heights in the morning period.
Expected temperatures: On the coast from 12 to 17 degrees, over the mountains from 5 to 15 degrees, inland from 4 to 13 degrees.
Surface winds: From southeast to southwesterly, its speed ranges between 10 and 30 km/hr.
Visibility: Average sometimes, gets worse in the evening on the hills.
– Relative humidity on the coast: Between 50 and 75%.
Sea condition: Low to medium wave height.
Water surface temperature: 18°C.
– Atmospheric pressure: 760 mm Hg.
