The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected the weather tomorrow to be partly cloudy to cloudy with a decrease in temperatures, which remain below their seasonal rates, and winds are sometimes active, with the atmosphere remaining ready for rain in the morning and evening period, as fog forms on the heights.
The bulletin stated the following:
General status: An atmospheric depression centered in southern Cyprus leads to cloudy and volatile weather so that its impact on Lebanon remains limited in terms of rainfall. (The average temperature for the month of October is between 21 and 29 degrees).
Weather expected in Lebanon: Sunday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with medium and high clouds with a slight rise in temperatures, especially in the mountainous and inland areas, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorm cells laden with rain as a result of the instability in the atmosphere. The wind is sometimes active up to 50 km / h. Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a decrease in temperatures, which remain below their seasonal rates, and winds are sometimes active, with the conditions remaining ready for rain in the morning and evening. Fog is also formed on the heights. Tuesday: Partly cloudy with low temperatures and fog on the heights. Scattered light rain is expected at times, especially in the north of the country during the morning period. It also recorded a rise in sea waves in the south of the country. Wednesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with high clouds with the onset of a limited rise in maximum temperatures.
Expected temperatures: on the coast from 19 to 31 degrees, over the mountains from 13 to 23 degrees, inland from 12 to 28 degrees.
Surface wind: northwesterly to southwesterly, active, with a speed of between 15 and 45 km/h.
Visibility: Good overall.
– Relative humidity on the coast: between 50 and 70%.
