In recent days there was rumor regarding a big change that Instagram would soon have. Finally, this Wednesday the wait ended following Adam Mosseri, director of the social network, confirmed it: the way in which the publications are seen will be modified.
In other words: what will change is the ‘feed’. Once this new function is made official, Users will have the possibility to choose what content they want to see according to the following categories or views: Home or Home, Favorites and Followed.
– Home or start: All posts will appear, even those from users you don’t follow, but are related to the content you like or search for within the app.
– Favorites: here only the content of those accounts that you follow (creators, family, friends) is segmented, the content of those users that you do not follow does not appear.
– Followed: This provides the ability to select the accounts that you want your content to appear in the feed.
The last two options can be configured to output content dynamically or in chronological order, Mosseri explained.
The menu to select one of the three options It will be located at the top left of the feed.
The manager also clarified that for now this change is in beta version, but it will be available to some users in the coming weeks.
