The Brussels parliament voted on Friday to raise the antenna radiation standard. Wallonia and Flanders had already done the same.

Ct was the last step on the long – very long – road leading Belgium towards 5G, the next generation of mobile technology. This Friday, the Brussels parliament approved with 52 votes for, one vote once morest and 19 abstentions a draft order raising the maximum radiation standard for GSM antennas. This step was necessary to allow the deployment of 5G in the capital, the current standard being too restrictive. It was the last Region not to have done so yet.
