After the Corona crisis, air traffic is slowly but surely picking up once more. And how! Even the most exclusive and therefore most expensive flights are in great demand once more. For example, the flight with Lufthansa in first class from Frankfurt (D) to San Francisco (USA) with Lufthansa. This is reported by the “Spiegel”.
The exclusive flight costs a whopping 24,000 dollars – and is currently sold out. Even CEO Carsten Spohr (55) seems surprised and asks his wealthy clientele for patience. “We’re seeing very strong numbers on the North America route,” says Spohr. “And to be honest: In the summer season we are already sold out anyway.”
Punctuality in the center
With its offer, the crane airline even exceeds the number of flights to the USA before the Corona crisis. 25 destinations are flown to, but even their capacities are not sufficient for the expected rush. That’s how great the travel fever is following the Corona crisis that was thought to be over.
“For me, it was the Easter holidays that brought regarding the change – from too many resources for too few passengers to suddenly too many passengers for too few resources,” Spohr continues.
