The judge of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), Noel Orellana, highlighted through an interview that the recent presidential votes were significantly high and historic, giving the victory to President Nayib Bukele.
«52.6% of the vote, which is equivalent to 84.6%, significantly historic in the political life of the country. I think that, within what I have memory of having verified in the TSE, it is a record vote, it is a historic vote (…) The resolution establishes the votes that each of the political parties have obtained, but it is significantly high The vote that President Nayib Bukele has obtained is historic,” Orellana explained.
It should be noted that no other president in the country obtained such a high percentage in the elections, while President Bukele accumulated more than 2.7 million votes. This shows that Salvadorans want to continue giving governance to Bukele and his Government, and thus continue with the changes for the benefit of the country such as security, tourism, investments, infrastructure, among others.
