Voice Of Germany has to say goodbye to the previous jurors. Stefanie Kloß, Mark Forster, Rea Gaervey and Peter Maffey will be replaced.
Berlin – Voice Of Germany says goodbye to familiar faces. Stefanie Kloß (38) from Silbermond, Mark Forster (40), Rea Garvey (50) and Peter Maffay (73) will not return to the singing show next year. The broadcaster still leaves open whether it should be a permanent farewell or whether the four stars will return at some point.
A statement released by ProSieben on its official Twitter page read: “After the wonderful final season of ‘The Voice’, our coaches Stefanie Kloss von Silvermond, winning coach Mark Forster, our favorite Irishman Rea Garvey and music great Peter Maffay is taking a ‘The Voice Of Germany’ break this year.”
As a farewell, there were personal words from the head of the station. According to the statement, Daniel Rosemann, the head of the station at ProSieben and Sat.1, said: “You never go completely, something of you stays here. Dear Stefanie, dear Mark, dear Rea and dear Peter, ProSieben and Sat.1 thank you for great and wonderful hours at ‘The Voice of Germany’. You know: As part of the big ‘The Voice’ family, you’re always welcome on the red chairs. See you soon. It was an honour.”
Constant change of jurors: ‘The Voice of Germany’ coaches might come back
It is not yet clear who will replace the four judges in the coming season. However, it is nothing new that previous judges are returning. For example, Rea Garvey was there for seasons 1 and 2 in 2011 and 2012 and then returned for seasons 4 and 5 and 9 and 12.
Stefanie Kloss co-starred with Rea Garvey in seasons 4 and 5 and then returned for season 12. In 2020, Rea was also the moderator of the show together with Samu Haber and Stefanie Kloß once stood in as a substitute. Mark Forster has been a constant coach since Season 7 in 2017, and Peter Maffay made his first foray into the red chair in Season 12.
