After a summer in favor of France Télévisions thanks to the Olympic Games, TF1 intends to make itself heard on the end-of-August programming schedule. This Saturday, August 17, 2024, the group is banking on one of its strongest brands to launch its TV season: The Voice Kids.
The little sister of The Voice is already 10 years old. And for the occasion, TF1 wants to pull out all the stops and promises an “exceptional season”.
For this, she can rely on a team of five-star coaches : Lara Fabian, Patrick Fiori, Claudio Capéo and Slimane. Two old, two new (or almost). Parity is respected. Round table of presentations.
Lara Fabian is back, Claudio Capéo is the new kid
Last year, Patrick Fiori, Nolwenn Leroy, Slimane and Kendji Girac (who has since been embroiled in cases) were left in their jury seats after the victory of Durel, Slimane’s protégé. That was in August 2023.
(Almost) exactly one year later, the talent show that pits 6-15 year-olds against each other is back with a renewed team of coaches.

Let’s start with a news that is not quite news. If she was not present last season, Lara Fabian is not a novice in the exercise. The giant of French song was already a coach in 2020… but in the adult version of the program.
The (real) new kid on the block for this 2024 edition is Claudio Capeo. The singer was candidate during season 5 of The Voice adult version. In Florent Pagny’s team, he will be eliminated during the battles. Seven years later, here he is on the other side of the stage.
Patrick Fiori and Slimane are back
To complete the cast, two personalities have agreed to return after the 2023 season. First, we have Slimane, who caused a sensation at Eurovision recently. How the winning coach of season 9 of The Voice Kids could he have refused?
With nine seasons under his belt and four victories, Patrick Fiori brings up the rear. The one who has not missed a season of the children’s talent show will return to his red chair this Saturday, August 17, 2024.

What we know about this new season
Apart from the new judges, there are no changes in the show, which will, moreover, still presented by Nikos Aliagas and Karine Ferri.
TF1 the announcement in a video published on August 3 on his social networks: “prepare yourself for an avalanche of emotions”. Magical performances, tears and voices that derail coaches, the most sensitive ones will have to keep a few tissues aside in front of the post.
