The visit of the Saudi delegation will lead to billions of dollars of investment in Pakistan: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the visit of the Saudi delegation will lead to investment of billions of dollars in Pakistan. He said that he is grateful to Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman that following my recent visit, the Saudi delegation visited Pakistan under his special interest.

A federal cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. In the initial conversation, Azam congratulated the Cabinet on Eid-ul-Fitr and prayed for progress and prosperity for Pakistan through the blessings of Ramadan.

He said that he is grateful to Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman that following my recent visit, the Saudi delegation visited Pakistan under his special interest.

Appreciating the efforts of the federal cabinet and relevant authorities for the successful visit of the Saudi delegation, Azam said that the Saudi delegation was impressed by the preparation of the Pakistani ministers and officials and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud expressed this openly. As a result of the visit, billions of dollars will be invested in Pakistan.

He said that we have to ensure the arrival of this investment in Pakistan and the completion of the projects with the same hard work and dedication. As promised, we will work day and night for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. I am sure that if we continue to work hard, we will soon achieve the goals of development, prosperity and economic stability of Pakistan.

A 9-point agenda was approved in the cabinet meeting. The Cabinet approved the reorganization of Accountability Courts, appointment of Federal Drug Inspector, Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Ministry of Labor of Qatar, 5-year policy of Federal Public Private Partnership and National Institute for Modern Sciences Bill. While also confirming the decisions of ECC.

The Prime Minister warned all ministers and bureaucrats that poor performance, incompetence, laziness, negligence and delay will not be tolerated at any stage of foreign investment projects including Saudi. The Cabinet also expressed its displeasure over the Secretary Aviation not submitting the summary on time.
