***The national coach, Pamela Conti, will work with 26 players until reducing the final list to the 21 who will be in the international competition***
The Vinotinto U-20 Women’s team is in the city of Bogotá, where it will continue its preparation for the U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Colombia starting on August 31.
National coach Pamela Conti will work with 26 players until narrowing down the final list to the 21 who will be representing the national team in the most important international competition in the category.
Last Monday, work began with two training sessions, attended by 25 players, except for Marianyela Jiménez, who will be joining the Vinotinto training camp in the coming days.
Let us remember that this would be the fourth module since the qualification for the World Cup in May of this year, after meeting in Barquisimeto, Margarita and Austria, so the stay in Colombia will be the second outside Venezuelan borders and will extend until the start of the tournament.
It is important to note that the squad also includes six under-17 youth players: defenders María León and Ariana Cova; midfielders Claudia Pérez, Melanie Chirinos and Amanda Gugliotta; and forward Hosannah Ruíz.
