The Vinotinto Futsal Sub 17 secured third place in the South American

The Vinotinto U-17 Futsal team secured third place in the South American Championship this Sunday after beating the Bolivian team.

After falling to second place on Saturday afternoon, La Vinotinto climbed onto the podium alongside Argentina and Brazil on Sunday. They won the Bronze medal after soundly defeating Bolivia in the South American tournament.

Today’s match took place in Asunción, Paraguay, where they defeated the Bolivian team 2-0. From the start of the match, the Venezuelan team made clear its defense of the field and its desire to achieve victory.

In the first minute of the first half, M. Uribe opened the scoring with the first goal sent into the back of the Bolivian net. This first goal gave La Vinotinto more confidence to continue their defensive position.

In the second half, Bolivia tried hard to create scoring opportunities, but the Venezuelan defense did not allow it. On the contrary, in the 34th minute of the second half, C. Neus managed to score the second goal.

It is worth noting that on Saturday the Venezuelan team lost 3-0 to Brazil, who took advantage of each mistake to secure their place in the final. However, this defeat was not enough for La Vinotinto and they continued to fight to get on the podium, as they did today.
