They have proven it at past editions and continue to prove it once more today during this edition of the International Agricultural Show; their role is crucial in terms of innovation in a sector that needs it to continue to meet ever-increasing demand, especially in a global context where we are working to guarantee food sovereignty.
Water stress, drought, overexploited soil, population explosion… are factors that require us to reinvent agriculture. In this sense, “the Village Startups Pavilion”, this new center at the service of tomorrow’s agriculture, hosted by the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM) in its 15th edition, is a space that spans over 1,200 m2, where 30 national and international start-ups present the latest in agricultural solutions to professionals and the general public.

This new center brings together around a program of round tables, conferences and immersive demonstrations, as part of the presentation of new technological solutions and innovations, which have become an essential resource for developing Moroccan and African agriculture. At the entrance to the pavilion, an immersive digital farm is deployed as a 300 m2 demonstrator, with a “FirmaTech” e-services desk, an agritech store, an agricultural analysis unit, a ” smart farming”, and a “smart farming” academy, introducing pavilion visitors to the world of smart farming.
With a view to connecting farmers to e-services, startups of various specialties, from AgTech to FoodTech and even GreenTech or WaterTech, offer multiple innovative services for a smart agricultural experience, including irrigation and smart systems.

The digital farm offers an immersive and interactive experience to visitors, highlighting the latest technologies and sustainable agricultural practices, aimed at modernizing the agricultural sector, in the different stages of the production process, from upstream to downstream. The startups also exhibit their know-how in energy-tech for an energy transition, and offer services in areas related to the management and control of energy consumption, the improvement of energy efficiency , as well as the integration of photovoltaic energy sources.
