Said message was not well received by the minister and former president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), Arturo Zaldivar Lelo de Larrea who declared the meeting as inappropriate, and that minors should not be joked in this way.
“I find the video of the Dalai Lama disturbing and sad. There is no joke or cultural environment that justifies the abuse of a child. Because that’s what the religious leader did. A pity that with your ‘ocean of wisdom’ you have not understood something so obvious. #ConLasYLosNiñosNo”, he wrote on his Twitter account.
The case has caused concern and users do not stop to call the attention of the Dalai Lama, as they accuse that it is not only regarding “a playful joke”and the act is totally unacceptable.
“Don’t normalize child sexual abuse: no matter how revered the Dalai Lama is. I do not agree with a child sucking the tongue of an adult man or woman, anyone,” wrote the lawyer and political activist, the Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu.
