A 45-year-old man, Samsul Bahri, was killed when he was fishing for shrimp in the Semaja river in North Kalimantan, Indonesia on the 19th of this month. The crocodile attacked and ate it alive. It took the villagers 3 days to finally find the “crocodile”, but found that Barry’s body had been digested, and the whole body could hardly be recovered.
According to the British “Daily Star” and “Newsflare” reports, Barry is the father of three children. On the day of the incident, he went to the river to fish for shrimp, but was attacked by a crocodile, and finally was swallowed alive by a crocodile belly. After the villagers discovered the situation, they immediately launched a search, and caught two crocodiles about 4 meters long, but they did not find any human or animal remains after vomiting.
Finally, after 3 days of searching, the villagers finally found a large crocodile about 8 meters long. After inducing vomiting, they found that it spit out some human bones and limbs. After DNA comparison, it was determined that it was Barry’s body. However, the authorities also found that there were not many human remains in the crocodile’s stomach. It is believed that almost all of Barry’s remains have been digested, and it is difficult to recover Barry’s whole body.
In addition, the authorities also pointed out that in recent years, many riparian areas have been developed into agricultural land, and the situation of excessive fishing has led to the reduction of the habitat of crocodiles, and the situation of “people and crocodiles competing for land” has resulted in human being attacked by crocodiles. One after another, the authorities also called on the local people to pay more attention.
