Who might have activated Delphine Jubillar’s phone on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020? After nearly two years of investigation, the mystery at the heart of this criminal case remains whole. So, in an attempt to unravel the enigma, the judges, Audrey Assemat and Coralyne Chartier, ordered new expertise on the nurse’s phone on Saturday. The laptop, a Huawei, strangely activated several times on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, the night during which the 33-year-old woman disappeared.

The telephone, which has not been found since, would have been limited one last time within a radius of 2 km around the family home. New expertise on a device of the same model comes as Huawei, requested in 2021 by the gendarmes to unravel the mystery of such activations, brings a weighty element. The Chinese company responds that these triggers “necessarily require human action and unlocking of the device”.
