The Vice President of the Iranian Football Federation has been arrested

The Vice President of the Iranian Football Federation, in charge of women’s affairs, Shahra Mousavi, was arrested on charges of fraud in connection with a cryptocurrency case, the official IRNA news agency reported.

Mousavi’s arrest comes just a month following the dismissal of the president of the federation, Shahabuddin Azizi Khadem, a year following he took office, due to “the lack of financial transparency and the signing of a contract with a Zionist company to import the video assistant referee (VAR) technology,” according to what the media indicated. Iranian media.

According to the official agency, the police also arrested the vice president’s husband, on the same charge.
