A self-managed space for the expression and dissemination of independent artists from the different valleys of the province. That is the motto of the Valley Song Festival, which this weekend will have its second edition in Alta Gracia.
On this occasion, there will be more than 30 artists on stage and 18 original musical proposals that will take place this Saturday the 23rd from 7pm and Sunday September 24th from 4pm on the stage of Cañito Cultural, the key cultural space in the Paravachasca valley.
The grid
On Saturday, local bands and soloists such as Mixtura, Mara Ferrari, Buji Molas and Pato Garbi will perform. Representing rap and urban music will be Aci2, Tío. H, Kay and Len. As artists from other regions, Jula from Traslasierras and Marcos Luc from Córdoba capital will be part of the group.
On Sunday, meanwhile, they will be credited by Paravachasca Facu Cerda and José Luis Aguirre; from rap and urban music, Abrux, Big Brain, Mac Trival and Jala. The proposal will be completed with Rita Calandria from Punilla, Savia Mestiza from Sierras Chicas and Diego Nicolás Bario from Calamuchita. On both days there will be a corner with activities for children.
“We emphasized that local musicians play, that there is room for the music of our town. We are happy with how people have joined, some have even been left wanting to play,” Ezequiel López, one of the organizers of the festival, told Radio Tortuga de Alta Gracia, which will broadcast the entire event live.
On Saturday, in addition, a loop workshop will be held by Marcos Luc. Both days the entry “is a free ticket”, although the organizers stressed that it is a “conscious contribution” that must value the artistic proposal offered by the festival. They suggest a floor of 1500 pesos.
