The UTN incorporates e-sports as a sporting activity this year

Students from UTN San Francisco Regional Faculty will be able to join the practice of e-sports this year within the sports activities plan programmed by the institution.

Electronic sports (e-sports) are multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional gamers. This modality had already been added to the University Technology Games competition last year.

This year, the students have already started the sports activities that are taught by the Sports area of ​​the Secretariat of University Affairs. Among the disciplines, the practice of basketball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, chess and functional training stands out.

The Secretary of University Affairs highlighted that these proposals promote teamwork and allow the acquisition of soft skills, that is, fundamental skills for interpersonal development in all spheres of life.
