The use of masks is no longer mandatory on trains, subways and buses in SP

This Thursday (2), the government of São Paulo announced the withdrawal of the end of the mandatory use of face protection masks in public transport in the state. The measure will come into force from Friday (3)when it will be published in the Official Gazette.

The decision was taken following the Executive Committee of the state met to discuss the release following the end of the obligation in airports and planes determined by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) yesterday, Wednesday (1st).

The City Hall of the capital of São Paulo informed that it will follow the guidelines of the state government. please note that the obligation had been resumed in November 2022following a high number of Covid-19 cases registered across the country.
