Dr. Issa Al Baskati, President of the University of Dubai, announced that the world will have regarding 50 billion devices connected to artificial intelligence and controlled remotely in 2025, stressing that artificial intelligence will grow and its use will multiply 10 times over the next few years, and perhaps within three or four years.
Al Bastaki said, in a special statement to Al-Ittihad: “In the year 2030, there will be a huge leap in reliance on artificial intelligence, and that is why we saw the Dubai government developing a 10X plan that aims to surpass the world by 10 times what it will achieve.”
He pointed out that in the year 2030, the approved devices using artificial intelligence in the world are likely to reach regarding 1 billion devices, due to the development of computing processes.
He stated that the World Government Summit organized by the UAE serves the world and focuses on the role and service of technology to humans. For example, climate change requires rapid processes that humans cannot carry out quickly.
He said: “Climate change requires rapid and complex processes that only artificial intelligence can carry out, as it is difficult for humans to carry out. Artificial intelligence can solve problems related to the environment, health, and education with high efficiency.”
He pointed out that universities in the country have begun to pay great attention to artificial intelligence, as the future will depend heavily on artificial intelligence, and therefore we see that universities have provided many educational specializations to study artificial intelligence in all its details and fields. He stated that there are many specializations in universities in the country related to artificial intelligence, both in public and private universities, stressing that it will be the key to overcoming future challenges.
He said: “There are fields and sectors in the world that rely on artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence offers unconventional and innovative solutions in various fields and sectors. The future of the world is artificial intelligence, which is currently moving toward development to become cognitive-generative artificial intelligence.”
