The US considers China the only country that is willing and able to change the current international order. This statement was made by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in his speech on the US course towards China.
China is the only country with the intention of changing all of its growing economic, diplomatic, military and technological power. Therefore, the US views China as “the most serious long-term challenge” to the international order.
“Even though” the continuation of the Russian Federation’s operation in Ukraine, Washington remains focused on the most serious and long-term “challenge to the international order,” Anthony Blinken stressed, referring to the People’s Republic of China.
