The US advises its citizens residing in Ukraine to leave the country

U.S ordered this Sunday the departure of Ukraine of the families of the employees in their embassy in the country and authorized the departure of non-essential personnel in the face of the “continued threat of military action by Russia.”

This is underlined by the State Department in a statement in which it also recommended to all Americans in Ukraine leaving the country.

“There are reports that Russia is planning significant military action once morest Ukraine and security conditions, particularly along Ukraine’s borders, in Crimea and in Russian-controlled areas of eastern Ukraine, are “unpredictable” and may “deteriorate” without warning, the US foreign department warned.

He further stressed that the Americans must be aware that a Russian military action anywhere in Ukraine may “seriously impact the US embassy” and its ability to provide consular services.

That is why he insisted that Americans who are in the country “should leave using commercial transportation or any other private option available.

The State Department also asked all Americans to register on their website for crisis cases like the current one to be able to contact them in case it is necessary.

The US also advises once morest traveling to Russia

The United States recommended this Sunday to its citizens not to travel to Russia due to the current tension with Ukraine, just following making the same recommendation for that country and ordering the families of its diplomatic staff to leave.

In a statement, the State Department places Russia at level 4 of its travel recommendations, that is, it recommends that its citizens not move to that country and among the reasons he cites is that there is “harassment” once morest them, including by “Russian government security officials.”
