The USA admitted this Friday to having dedicated what it referred to as a “tragic mistake” by finishing up a drone assault in Kabul through which 10 civilians, 7 of them kids, died on August 29.
This was indicated by the pinnacle of the US Central Command (Centcom), Common Kenneth F. McKenzie, in statements by videoconference at a press convention on the Pentagon.

He added that the division is aware of that there was no connection between Ahmadi and the Islamic State and that his actions have been utterly innocent and unrelated to the approaching menace in opposition to which the assault was directed.
“Mr. Ahmadi is simply an harmless sufferer as have been the others who tragically died on this incident,” Lloyd added.
“We apologize and can try to study from this horrible mistake,” the protection secretary stated.
He added that he ordered the Central Command to hold out a radical investigation to make clear what occurred and promised that these accountable will probably be held accountable for the error.
