Above all, the range of functions of the HomePod mini is being expanded here, in that Apple two years following its introduction has been present from the start Temperature and humidity sensors activated.
In addition, the new HomePod software brings the usual performance improvements and bug fixes as well as sound optimizations, especially with regard to the new big HomePod and its predecessor. The new second generation HomePod was presented by Apple last week and will be available in stores from February 3rd.
tvOS 16.3 also available
Also now available is the update to tvOS 16.3. In connection with the update, the operating system for Apple TV should primarily take care of the support of the new HomePod and bug fixes, not least of which is the support of Apple’s new HomeKit infrastructure.
