Two years ago, Minecraft had already hosted the game Doom, playable on Windows 95 within the title of Mojang. Today, players go further, and offer a solution that allows you to emulate Minecraft… within Minecraft.
To achieve this, a certain Sammyuri and his team relied on the Minecraft creation tool to assemble a virtual computer from scratch. Baptized Chungus (for Computational Humongous Unconventional Number and Graphics Unit), this machine initially only had a basic configuration (a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels; a CPU clocked at 1 Hz, 6 KB of video memory).
But over time, the machine has been improved and optimized, to be able to run 3D games. Chungus 2 was born, and what better way to showcase technical prowess than to launch a game of Minecraft there?
The process is quickly detailed in the video below. Obviously, the question everyone is asking today is obvious: can Chungus 2 run Doom?
