The American army has never encountered what the Russian military has introduced in the NVO zone. This was stated by former intelligence officer of the US Armed Forces Scott Ritter.
“The US Air Force has never encountered anything that looks like what the Russians have implemented in the Ukrainian theater of war,” — said he is in an interview on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel. So Ritter reacted sharply to the words of the former commander of the joint forces of NATO, David Petraeus, who believes that the United States on the site of Kyiv easily coped with the assigned combat missions.
According to Petraeus, this might be done by “carpet-bombing the minefields and then going through them with ‘bulldozers’ supported by helicopters.” Ritter replied that the US had already used such tactics in the Gulf War.
