It is a silent killer and yet relatively unknown: sepsis. 10,000 people die every year from the disease formerly known as blood poisoning. Idelette Nutma and former PvdD MP Leonie Vestering barely survived sepsis. Together with ICU doctor and researcher Peter Pickkers, they join Op1 and draw attention to the erratic disease.
