The United States wants to break the prices of green hydrogen

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has just released a new envelope of 750 million dollars to finance research and demonstrators aimed at drastically lowering the costs of green hydrogen.

In the United States, the Biden administration is continuing its efforts to reduce the cost of renewable hydrogen. Via the US Department of Energy, the government announced on March 15 that it had released $750 million to support research efforts.

« Making clean hydrogen from abundant renewable energy provides America with another incredibly powerful fuel for many applications said US Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm.

Divided into several sections, the DOE’s call for projects aims in particular to lower manufacturing costs and improve the performance of electrolyzers. The files must be submitted to the services of the American agency by April 19, 2023.
