The Colombian National Team announced the call for the friendly that will be played on January 28 against the United States in Carson, California, at Dignity Health Sports Park at 7:30 pm Colombia time. The Argentine coach called 20 players, mostly from the national team.
The list left several surprises and unexpected calls from Néstor Lorenzo, who has not stopped testing players since his arrival, all of this thinking about the challenges that lie ahead, especially the Copa América and the World Cup qualifiers in the United States/Canada/Mexico 2026.

Dylan Borrero
His call caused surprise in the Colombian National Team, not because of his conditions, but because nobody had him on the radar. He is a youth squad for Independiente Santa Fe, went through Atlético Mineiro and is now part of the New England Revolution in the United States. He has processes with the national team, he was in the South American U-17 in 2019.
He is a winger with great projection and individual capacity, he has a great mid-distance shot and at his young age he already has three titles, all with Atlético de Mineiro. A League, a Cup and a Super Cup are already part of his record.
Andres Reyes
The defender from Cauca is one of the big surprises in the call-up, he is a youth squad player for Atlético Nacional, he left the ‘purslane’ team with 19 games over between 2018 and 2019, then he went on to play football in the United States with Inter Miami, there He played just 13 games and was signed by the New York Red Bulls, where he has currently played 21 games.

Daniel Catano
The Millonarios player had a roller coaster of emotions and a football level in 2022. Diber Cambindo
