The UN warned Russia that it will not be able to win the war and that it must negotiate
The Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres, He warned Russia on Tuesday that it will be impossible to take control of all of Ukraine and urged Moscow to stop the attacks and negotiate peace.
Guterres, speaking to journalists, stressed that there is “diplomatic progress” on several key issues of the conflict, which must be “enough” for a cessation of hostilities to be declared right now and advance to a serious negotiation.
“This war cannot be won. Sooner or later, he will have to move from the battlefield to the peace table. This is inevitable,” insisted the head of the United Nations, who also denounced that the Ukrainians are experiencing “hell.”
