Mrs. Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of the United Nations AIDS Program (UNAIDS) and the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, together with the delegation, met on the occasion of an informal visit to Thailand that yesterday (14 Feb. 2022) there was a bilateral discussion with Executive Director of the United Nations AIDS Program and Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations in enhancing relations with Thailand As he was elected to the position Chairman of the Executive Committee of the United Nations AIDS Program (Programme Coordination Board (PCB) in 2022, speaking in support of Thailand’s priorities in pushing for an accelerated end to the world’s AIDS problem. especially to reduce stigma discrimination Treatment and prevention of HIV infection among youth
which Thailand is one of the 6 countries that are outstanding in this field. It has joined the Global Partnership for action to eliminate all forms of HIV-related stigma and discrimination. There is also a plan to organize study tours in Thailand to exchange knowledge of community-led operations. Community-led response and the integration of HIV in the universal health coverage system.
