Milestone announces the release of RIDE 5, a new chapter in the motorcycle simulation game franchise. Available on PlayStation®5, Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic from August 24, 2023, RIDE 5 includes a career mode accompanied by a narrator who will introduce the events and guide the players through their adventure. Players will also be able to enjoy ten rivals with their own personality, story and appearance, as well as over 200 playable events. Career mode comes in four career paths with events to complete before you can unlock the next one.
The new RIDE 5 offers an even more immersive experience thanks to technological improvements that blur the line between reality and virtual. For the first time in the franchise, a dynamic weather system has been integrated to generate realistic climate changes during races, adding a whole new strategic dimension. Technological improvements have also improved the physics of motorcycles, from the interaction of the rider with his vehicle to the different speeds, and lean angles for each of the vehicle categories.
RIDE 5 offers an enhanced multiplayer experience, with the ability to join cross-play sessions on consoles (PlayStation 5 vs Xbox Series X|S) and PC (Steam vs Epic Games Store). Global ranking pushes players to become the best version of themselves. Moreover, local split-screen multiplayer is backto offer players the possibility to compete against their friends, directly from their couch.
The Race Creator allows players to customize the races and the championship by choosing the categories of motorcycles allowed in the competition, selecting the opponents’ AI, the circuits, creating new liveries from scratch and choosing the system of score and the rules. RIDE 5 also offers options to make the game more accessible, such as driving aids to ease the learning curve and help less experienced players take full control of their vehicle.
