Modern science has proven that each blood group has a specific nature, and they have a unique way of controlling the quality and nature of the food consumed. Therefore, it is necessary to know the permitted and prohibited foods and a good diet for those with the “O” blood type, according to a special statement by Dr. Maher Ahmed Al-Qiblawy, Professor of Physical Therapy and Obesity at Kasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine.

Foods allowed for people with type O blood are:

-Meat:

Beef – rabbit – sheep – liver – heart – chicken – broiler – turkey – ostrich meat

-Fish:

Salmon – sardines – mackerel – tilapia – mullet – oysters – shrimp – lobster – shells

-Dairy products :

Fat-free cottage cheese – sheep cheese – soy milk – skim milk

-Vegetables :

Leafy vegetables – green vegetables – broccoli – garlic – radishes – lettuce – onions of all kinds – okra – parsley – peppers – spinach – tomatoes – peas – celery – green olives

-the fruit:

Apples – figs – plums – grapes – guava – pineapple – peaches – pears – watermelon – apricots – cantaloupe – red dates

-Drinks:

Ginger – mint – green tea – pineapple juice – plum juice – peach juice – grape juice – vegetable juice – tomato juice – cucumber juice – carrot juice

-Forbidden foods:-

-Fish:

Caviar – squid – tuna – anchovies – catfish – canned fish – pickled fish – frozen fish

-Dairy products :

American cheese – Swiss cheese – blue cheese – all kinds of dairy – cream cheese

-Vegetables:

Eggplant – all kinds of cabbage – cauliflower – mushrooms – black olives – potatoes – avocado

-the fruit:

Orange – raspberry – strawberry – tangerine – kiwi – grapefruit

-Drinks:

Coffee – regular black tea – soda – diet soft drinks – alcohol

As for the diet for people with type 0 blood, it is as follows:

-the breakfast

2 tablespoons of cottage cheese + 1 sun bread or a container of light yogurt + 2 tablespoons of oats

Grilled fish (tilapia or mullet), a quarter of a kilo + a green salad plate (lettuce – cucumber – onion – arugula – tomato)

Or half a grilled chicken + a plate of boiled vegetables (broccoli – artichokes – okra – zucchini – spinach)

2 apples – cantaloupe – pears

-Dinner

A small plate of salad or a plate of boiled vegetables

2 fruits

A box of light yogurt + a spoon of oats.
