The Russian Ministry of Defense recently reported that the Russian military shot down two Ukrainian drones aimed at civilian infrastructure in southern Russia. The Russian side believes that the incident was planned and implemented by the Kiev regime, which tried to use unmanned aerial systems to attack the infrastructure in the two southern regions of Russia, but in the end, the two drones were destroyed by Russian electronic warfare forces.

In addition, a Ukrainian drone also crashed 100 kilometers away from Moscow, seriously threatening the safety of Russia, and even the airport temporarily suspended take-off and landing.

Judging from the on-site video released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, two drones flew over Russia in the early hours of the day, and the Russian military immediately dispatched them, causing the two drones to lose control and deviate from the flight path. It fell into the field, while another exploded near a residential area, and the flames rushed into the night sky in an instant, but fortunately no casualties were caused.

On the same day, another drone crashed in the Moscow region of Russia. The accident site was only 10 meters away from a compressor station of the Russian natural gas company. Preliminary investigations revealed that the crashed UJ-22 “Sky” drone, which has a range of up to 800 kilometers and is capable of being equipped with weapons, is unclear as to where the drone took off from and who it belongs to.

Later in the day, Russia’s St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport experienced large-scale flight delays, and the airport even announced that it would stop taking off and landing flights. According to Russian media, the reason for this situation is that UFOs appeared in the sky near Pulkovo Airport. However, the airspace of the city has returned to normal.

As early as the end of last year, three airports in Russia were attacked by drones one following another. The Russian Ministry of Defense immediately accused Ukraine of doing it. In response, the Russian army quickly carried out air strikes on many places in Ukraine, causing widespread power outages in Ukraine. At that time, Russian military expert Shulekin believed that Ukraine’s move was to deepen the war into Russia.

Faced with this series of actions, on the same day, Russian President Putin attended the meeting of the Russian Federal Security Service and issued three orders in a row.

First, Putin asked the bureau to stop those activities that attempt to divide Russian society, and secondly, he also asked the bureau to effectively deal with the threat of terrorism and the use of “extremists” by the West to achieve its own interests.

In addition, Putin also stated at the meeting that day that during the special military operations once morest Ukraine, the Russian Federal Security Service suffered personnel losses. Experience has been applied to strengthen Russia’s security.

With a large number of Russian troops entering the battlefield and the Ukrainian army continuing to receive Western weapons, successive drone attacks in Russia have made the outside world more certain that it may not be far before Russia and Ukraine launch their spring offensive. This time, Ukraine seems to be focusing on Crimea. According to Ukrainian President Zelensky, Ukraine is building new troops, and some soldiers are receiving training abroad.
