He pointed out that the country continues its leadership and prominent position among the top 10 countries in the world, by leading the global scene in indicators of access to electricity, satisfaction with roads, energy infrastructure, and city management, in addition to indicators of access to clean fuel and technology for cooking purposes. The country ranked third globally in the indicators of total domestic energy production and sanitation efficiency, in addition to the sixth rank in the water production index.

He said: “The UAE has become a sign of development, prosperity and growth, thanks to its wise leadership that made the UAE a “home of the impossible”, when it turned challenges into opportunities, and dreams into tangible reality, and that the ambition of Zayed’s sons is great and their successes are continuous, and they will not be satisfied with what they have achieved. Rather, they will continue the path of achievements that support the goals of global leadership in various fields by the year 2071.”

He explained that the leadership of global competitiveness indicators reflects the firm principles established by the state since the establishment of the federation, which requires harnessing government action to serve society and its happiness, and pursuing wise policies and ambitious visions, in addition to concerted efforts, joint work, and fruitful and constructive cooperation with the partners of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, to make the UAE better. country in the world and to enhance its global leadership in the sectors of energy, infrastructure, water, transportation and housing.

For his part, Eng. Hassan Muhammad Jumaa Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs, stressed that the country’s achievement of the first and advanced levels in global competitiveness indicators within the ranks of the first 10 countries in the world translates a wise leadership vision, the efficiency of government work and the efforts of a work team.
