The UAE wins 10 medals in the Arab Junior Arch and Arrow Championship

Our national bow and arrow team won 10 colored medals at the end of its participation in the Arab Junior Championships, which was held in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, with the participation of 6 Arab countries.

The delegation of our national team for the bow and arrow returned, with 10 colored medals, at the end of its participation in the Arab Junior Championships, which was held in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott.

Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi, President of the UAE Arrow and Arrow Federation, Fahd Salem Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Technical Committee, and the family of the Game Federation, received the mission, which included 7 shooters of both sexes, and team manager Matar Salem, in a warm atmosphere at Dubai International Airport.

Our team’s harvest was outstanding in the competitions in which 6 Arab teams participated, along with: Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Libya and Syria. Our team achieved 10 medals, 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze.

On the team level, our team won two gold medals in both male and female competitions, and two gold medals in the mixed competitions. In the singles, Amna Muhammad Al-Mansoori from Al Forsan Resort won the silver medal, and Sheikha Khalfan Al Suwaidi from the Fujairah Martial Games Club, the gold medal, and Alia Saleh from Al Fursan Club. Fujairah Martial Games bronze medal, Nasser Ali from Fujairah Martial Games Club gold medal, Saeed Mohammed from Dibba Al Hisn Bronze Medal, and Khalifa Musabah Al Kaabi from Al Madam Club Bronze Medal.

Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi congratulated the young shooters on the achievement, stressing that the results and performance they presented in this tournament make us look forward to a promising future for this Olympic game.
