“The Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi is scheduled to hold an exceptional event, through a memorial ceremony to be held on Tuesday night, for the first time in an Arab country,” the Israeli broadcaster, Kan, reported.

Kan explained that the Israeli Embassy in Abu Dhabi is scheduled to hold this event under the title “Commemoration of the Victims of the Israeli Army and Victims of Hostilities.”

And the I24 channel quoted the head of the British Center for Middle Eastern Studies in the UAE, Amjad Taha, as saying that “Israel has the right to hold such an event.”

He added, “We may not agree on all the terms, but we always stand by the memory of the victims of terrorism. All the people here respect this law. The normalization agreement between Israel and the UAE promotes peace and love.”

According to I24 channel, it was noted that “the Arab countries that maintain relations with Israel have in recent years held evenings to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and heroism, to express solidarity with the Jews on the one hand and to show openness between religions in these countries, on the other hand, But it is the first time today that the memory of the victims of the Israeli army and the hostilities in an Arab country will be commemorated.
