The director of the “Ornina” company for organizing parties and events, Zubaida Mazouq, confirmed that work in the field of organizing events is still below expectations, following the recovery period from the Corona pandemic, which greatly affected all areas of work in the world.
Zubaida said in exclusive statements: “We are not back to what we were before the Corona pandemic, especially in the field of prices, as people got used to being few during the pandemic period.. Now it is very difficult to return them to what the prices were.”
She added, “We had to lay off almost half of the workers during the pandemic, and we closed the company and stopped working for 8 months. The companies we deal with have also been affected, because the number of attendees has become few. The pandemic has affected many businesses, companies and events.
Regarding her latest activities, Zubaida indicated that she had organized many Emirati weddings, official government events and exhibitions in the previous period.
And she continued: “I also work in the field of public relations, as I recently completed two clips, one of which was with producer Mohamed El Sobky, and I was responsible for everything in the clip, and I also finished a clip with another artist who has not yet released.”
She added, “Our company is 20 years old, and we work in the field of organizing venue openings and artist relations, and a large number of them communicate with me constantly.”
Regarding the new company in the coming period, she said: “We now have the National Day of the UAE, where we are currently working with the Passports and Nationality Department, and decorate government departments.. We also have a party to launch a song for one of the artists, and following a while we have an exhibition in Abu Dhabi.”
On the other hand, Zubaida confirmed that the obstacles they encounter in the field of organization are simple, most notably the lack of coordination or the delay in appointments.
She explained: “It is very important to have agreements between us and the client, because coordination removes all obstacles, the most prominent of which is the delay in time by the client.”
In addition, Zubaida confirmed that her two areas of work, public relations and organizing events, complement each other, noting that her work in organizing events opened up horizons for her to expand her work through organizing clips.
She also talked regarding working in the UAE, saying: “There are many facilities in the UAE. Our company is 20 years old, and we have worked with government and private sectors.. Praise be to God, the name of the company is big and old, so we have a lot of facilities.”
She added, “The UAE is a country that has everything, and all the elements of work are present, so facilities are available and there are no obstacles, especially in the field of movement and movement.”
Zubaida concluded by providing tips for those who want to organize small parties, most notably choosing the right timing, joint cooperation, correct organization, and choosing the appropriate design for the venue.
