The UAE announces a reduction in gasoline prices for the month of August

Al-Marsad newspaper: The UAE authorities announced a reduction in gasoline prices for August, following 5 months of continuous increase, as the price of gasoline 98 reached 4.03 dirhams from 4.63 dirhams, while the price of gasoline 95 decreased from 4.52 dirhams to 3.92 dirhams, and the price of diesel reached 4.14 dirhams from 4.76 dirhams, according to Al Sharq TV.

While the prices of oil derivatives decreased by 13%, or 60 fils per liter, compared to the prices of the current month of July.

Fuel prices in the UAE had increased for two consecutive months, last June and this July, once morest the backdrop of a significant increase in oil prices, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which occurred on February 24.
