The UACH plans to open a career in Medicine in Juárez

Juarez City.- The rector of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH), Luis Alfonso Rivera Campos, announced plans to open a Medicine degree in Juárez.

During a meeting he held with Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, the rector spoke regarding the importance of opening that career in Juárez and being able to attend to the health issue here. He also presented other projects related to the investigation of two relevant issues for this town, such as migration and water.

He expressed that his visit was with the objective of showing the mayor his intention regarding the projects for this border, in addition to joining efforts with the Municipality.

The mayor and the rector agreed at the meeting to start a consultation stage and generate a basis for that estimate, in addition, the UACH will work on the issue of laboratories for the medical career.

“For us it is important that the highest authority of the Municipality was aware of this intention, which is academic and that deals with the social issue of health and it will be important to involve the people of Juarez who are looking for an option for their degree and that is beneficial to Ciudad Juárez” said Rivera Campos.
