The FIEB affirms to this effect that all plastic water bottles in Europe are made of “inert and harmless materials”, which comply with strict European legislation on packaging coming into contact with foodstuffs. In addition, mineral waters and spring waters “cannot undergo any chemical treatment”, and hundreds of checks take place each year, both at the source and at the level of the finished product.

For example , the article does not clearly state what type of water was analyzed.”
